Lots of full color photos, good instructions, and easy patterns. The heat gun is used for shrinking and curling certainribbons.
Use them when steam ironing little pieces. But that is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, small patterns.
You have to enlarge all of them to use them, which makes this a little unhandy, unless you have a copier at home that will enlarge things.
I knew the books were small, but it did not occur to me that the patterns would then be small too.I am not very happy with this purchase right now, and if anyone else is considering purchasing this book, keep in mind the extra cost of enlarging the patterns. Second disappointment (and a major one), the patterns are not full size. First disappointment, they have a lot of photos and some of the patterns.
I recently bought this set to complete my collection. The birds are so graceful, and the chickens in bloomers are a total hoot. Ideas skip about in my head till out comes something new and unusual.
Disney Princess Characters In Real Life
Hi i am harry , i'm the creator of characters factory.
I like to repaint monster high and ever after high dolls and to create new ...
Once you purchase it, its an instant download. Whip up the bodies and have fun picking out the fabrics for the clothes. So if your like making dolls but don't want to spend forever making the bodies, these patterns are great. The doll book has an easy to make scare crow for the gardener in the family. The bird book has whimsical chickens and puffins along with other birds.
I immediately started this little bunny for my grandson. This is both by tying the characters to the ways that girls have remained the same through history and had the same feelings and ideas, and to market the characters as companions. Felicity's last three books and accessories came out in spring 1992. This led to all future dolls having bodies that were much closer to the doll's given skin tone. As the line expanded, extra clothing, furniture, and storage trunks were released. The other reason was to offer a chance to teach history to children using the method of a character near their age, offering a smaller personal focus for largely arching historical time periods and giving a personal focus from a character whom they could relate to. One reason was to provide a doll the same age as the child who would be playing with it and present it as a friend rather than a baby to take care of or an adult to be like in the future, as at the time there were few long-term doll lines that focused on a girl at the ages of eight to ten; most popular dolls were marketed as either babies to care for, fashion, or adult- or teenagehood to later aspire to. Joe toys and uses them as the "princes" because she decided that the princesses need someone to party with. She has had them open a dress store, etc. Unlike with some other dolls, she never needs me to help her with these.
I showed my then 4-year-old only one time how to do it, and bam. The bottoms of them can be squeezed like a clothespin and the top opens and the doll can slide right out. Magiclip dolls, they are thin dolls that have dresses that can be easily changed out and removed and put back on by even the tiniest of hands. Magiclip dolls are pretty much the best toy we've ever purchased at this house.
I highly recommend and will certainly buy again. My only regret is not discovering these sooner. This doesn't happen constantly but you should expect it to happen some with 2 and 3 year old play. Another of her friends is always wanting to come home with her just to play with these dolls. She runs to her room as soon as she walks through the door everyday to play with them until bedtime.
Dresses change out effortlessly for small hands using a clothes pin clip method where the doll slides into the dress.
We have just replaced them with the small elastic hair ties and those have worked great. Only flaw is the rubber band that holds the dresses on is easy to take off on some of the dresses. They like taking the dresses off and switching them. Great product and would recommend to others. It's been 6 months now and they still play with the princesses.
I was thrilled this was not broken and was easily put back together. He pulled the dress apart, instead of pushing it to release it and it came off. They fit perfectly in her little small hand, but are not too small.
I like these dolls because they seem like they will last her a long time. So you can take the dresses off and on these dolls and easily (for me, but my 3 year old has to work at it for now) put the dresses back on.
You squeeze the bottom of the dresses and they have very tough plastic spring type clip, or maybe they would be called tension clips, that open and the dress slides off of. Parts of them are rubbery like a barbi doll and other parts hard plastic.
I think its a bit pricey for a few plastic dolls.
I was not sure why small dolls would cost so much. The dolls themselves appear to be the same ones from the previous generation mentioned above, but they're perfectly suitable for this decidedly-less-violent application. Your child squeezes the bottom of the dress and slide the "princess" right out. The dresses are hard plastic in two pieces that are snapped together to create a spring-like clip. Sick of dressing your kid's dolls for them?
We bought them for our three-year-old, but they had vinyl dresses that you had to stretch over their soft rubber limbs that felt like they could tear loose at any second.
